Who is This Gordon Guy?

That question is usually best answered with what I'm working on at the time the quesiton is asked. Currently, I'm situated with an exciting, young startup we've dubbed Wirkn. There I head up the product and engineering team as the company's CPO.

Getting Here...

Ten years ago, I stepped foot on UWaterloo campus for the first time. With a graphing calculator in one hand and a Big Gulp in the other. I couldn't have been more excited about my future in Mechanical Engineering.

Little did I know that just one year later I'd be trading my iron ring in for late nights with my trusty MacBook on a beat-up couch, in a colorfully decorated startup office.

And Now...?

Since then I've helped grow, sell and gracefully bring to a close and a number of startup companies across North Ameria.

I invite you to enjoy reading some of my stories and to checkout my hobby projects.

Hobby Projects

Some of the small projects I've been working on to keep my skills sharp.
Please note, I've used the free tier of Heroku to host many of these sites. They can take up to 30s to load.

In this project I laid out a basic starter project for Node JS with Bootsrap 4, Gulp and more that is ready to deploy to Heroku out of the box

codego

Simon Says

Created a simple Simon Says game on CodePen to practice with Animate CSS and jQuery. Turn up your volume if you'd like to play.
